MISSION 6: St. Petersburg
6.iii - Streets

Purple S indicates starting point
Red dot = stationary guard
Red dot with black X = patrolling guard
Black dots show approximate path of patrol
Arrows indicate direction of patrol
Straight lines indicate that a patrol is back and forth, rather than in a circuit

  • In order to make up time (important only in one mission, but it sometimes seems to take forever to start), hit the Start button during the opening film and then again when the POV zooms up to Bond to get inside his head.
  • Guards cannot see over railings or short walls, even though you can see them.
  • Guards generally take a moment to "set" - move their firearm from carrying position to firing position. This is the best time to kill them.
  • Always use Auto-Aim unless you have time to manually aim. (As far as this site goes, you should only aim manually when I specifically say to aim at something or if I say to shoot someone or something in a specific place. For instance, if I tell you to shoot someone in the head, you will need to manually aim. Otherwise, use Auto-Aim - that's what it's there for!)
  • Never rely on your Auto-Aim for up and down stairways, ladders, etc.
  • Never engage the enemy in a face-to-face gunfight. Get around a corner and wait for them to come to you. Pick them off as they round the corner and attempt to set.
  • The KF7 is your most handy gun, although it is loud. A tip: when aiming, a quick tap on the trigger will fire one bullet. This is usually sufficient to dispatch a guard shot in the head and generally does not attract the attention of other guards. When using Auto-Aim, a quick tap on the trigger will fire three bullets. This is usually sufficient to dispatch a guard shot in the chest (where Auto-Aim generally aims) and, when used inside rooms or far away from other guards, does not attract their attention the way a huge outburst of gunfire would. It also conserves ammo!
  • Don't switch guns until I tell you to!
  • Reload often - after every bad guy if possible.
  • Unless otherwise specified, always take your time! This walk-through is to get you finished the game, not to achieve the cheats. Speed is not necessary and, in most cases, will get you killed.

This is only sort of easy and much more fun when you are invincible and can run over people in the Tank. On 00 level you don't get to use the Tank. You gotta run.

From the start, sneak around the corner and shoot that guard in the face. The other guard will come to kill you - turn the tables on him. Pick up his gun and switch to KF7. The guard marked at #1 is a "homing guard". At the beginning of the mission, he follows that purple line straight to you, where you kill him. If you don't kill him, he will follow you around. There are more, but he is the one to worry about. Now head out to the fence, where the first casualty went down. Shoot the guard across the yard and then shoot the one to the left. Now sneak around and shoot the one hiding to your right.

Go up the alley to #1 and sneak around the corner to pick off that guard. His buddy will come out and you can kill him too. Do the same at #2. This will attract quite a gathering. You can take 'em all out right there, or you can just shoot at them as you make your way to Valentin (the big V). Go and talk to him, but keep your back to him and keep your gun pointing out the door to take out all comers.

Stay there until Valentin is out of sight, then exit the building. The only guards left should be the ones hiding inside the building at the far end of the alley (#3). Charge at the one on the left and shoot him dead. Go through the window and grab the Grenade Launcher and grenades (the X). Face the back wall and side-step right, through the door and kill that guard. If you do it quick enough, he'll be set and aiming at you in the other room. (You can't sneak on him - he sees you.) Get the Body Armor that is there, then exit through his window and go left.

Follow the road for a few twists and turns. Make all right turns and you will get to the exit (#4) in no time. (That is to say, turn right at every opportunity.) The X near the end indicates more Body Armor - don't bother with it as you will just get killed trying to get to it. Shoot the guards as you pass them, but don't stand around trying to kill them - they outnumber you and there's nowhere to hide. Some of the guards have Grenade Launchers and some have Rocket Launchers. When you hear a rocket launched, weave left or right and stay away from walls or cars. You should be running all out through here (side-step/forward). One of the Objectives is to Minimize Civilian Casualties - that's almost impossible not to do. In 00 Agent level you have to kill 13 civilians before you fail! Plus you get two warnings (after 6: Civilian casualties too high; after 10: Civilian casualties critical).

    MISSION 6.iv - Depot

You must finish this mission on the Agent level in 1:45 or less.

All you have to do is get to the end. Start at a dead run and go all the way like that, taking every right. You may be tempted to take the Tank, but don't - you cannot avoid rockets or grenades, you will have to run over at least one car and it also sets off the mines laid on the road (little green dots on the map). All of these things cause big fireballs. In this easy level, you can take a lot of that, but it also slows you down. My best time in the Tank is 1:40....

For reference, my best time is 1:37. No, I don't wanna hear how fast you made it!

Whaddaya get for it? All Enemies with Rocket Launchers (Mission only).
